I bought this simply to collect. It looks awesome and I got it for a reasonable discount, but after getting one of the refurbished entr keyboards I'm not seeing the value beyond aesthetics.
I really do love this keyboard. It is has made my gaming experience so much better and it feels nice. My only thing is that I wish I knew about Drop doing the magnetic thing to switch out designs and key caps before I bought it because I love the entirety of the LOTR collection. But even just this one keyboard, it’s amazing and way better than the Amazon one I had
My first mechanical keyboard ever. It's incredibly smooth and I was surprised by the weight - about 3 lbs. Only reason for 4 stars is how loud the keys are. There are a lot of nerdy coworkers nearby, so they like it, but it still feels like they're hearing out plain as day a few cubicles away. The color is much brighter on the website than in reality in truth - which is a happy surprise. I switched out the alternate red keys and added the Eye of Sauron keycaps. Love it!
I'm a HUGE Lord of the rings and Tolkien universe nerd and I love this line of keyboards you guys are putting out, but after buying 2 different ones I've noticed that the back light really doesn't do much to illuminate the keyboard and I'd like to have more customizability when it comes to RGB light
I didn't quite read the description so I didn't realize the switches were tactile. I usually use linear switches but man I could not give less of second breakfast about that. If you're looking for a functional novelty, get it girl. It's a metal body so it's more sturdy that the tower of Sauron, and the keycaps are s-tier. The switches are a little stiff out the box but that's the only draw back I can even think of at all. 10/10 worth the money I didn't really have.
Beautiful art on a beautiful keyboard. Keycaps are amazing. I wish it was rgb though because I think a red back drop would have been much better than the white back lights. It could have also use hotswap as a feature for a different feeling to the keyboard.
