Today, i m sad.
I really want this Xmid 2P but i's not possible. The 1P is available on Amazon just for USA and Canada. The 2P will follow the same way.
I hope a new batch on drop before the end of this year.

I don't understand it, but the 1P on Amazon USA doesn't ship outside USA, but the 2P will ship to the entire world. That how it has been and should be the same when the tents arrive.
I am told the tents will be there at the end of this week or early next week.

dandurstonI am sorry to say, but this turns out to be incorrect - I tried shipping it to the EU (Slovakia) and Amazon refused my order for the 2P, saying it cannot be shipped to that address. Retyped the address and still nothing. So sad ...
Edit: It seems to be country specific - it does not appear on French Amazon, but it does on UK or Germany. Still cannot be shipped, say from Germany to Slovakia.

choggoriIndeed. Sorry about that. We are talking about this issue now and looking for fixes.
EDIT: I looked into this and it has to do with how Amazon sets up their warehouses. Only some of them will ship to all countries. The X-Mid has arrived at the first warehouse, but they still have to transfer stock to another warehouse that can ship everywhere. So it will ship to France in about 1 week - unless of course it sells out before then.
I don't think it will, but if you prefer to take no chance, you can use a re-shipping service to you. Normally there is a $10 or so fee plus the shipping but someone wrote the following that has coupon code for $15 off so the total cost is basically the same as if Amazon did ship to your country:

I've been waiting for the 1P to come onto Drop to allow for shipping to Australia, but with the news that the upcoming 1P/2P stock will only be sold via Amazon (currently with shipping only to Canada/USA, although I've seen that Dan is trying to change this to ship internationally) I've had to place an order via Amazon US and use a parcel forwarding company to send it onto Australia as I have some time constraints and can't wait any longer.
If you create an account with the package forwarding service Hop Shop Go, you can get $15USD off your first order with code WELCOME15HSG.
With express shipping to Australia, you're looking at 220USD (~286AUD) for the 1P via Amazon + 18.60USD (33.60USD - 15USD with discount code, ~24AUD) postage via Hop Shop Go + potentially GST if Customs decides to charge you, so almost the same cost as it would be via Drop anyway.
These prices are based on an estimated package weight of 1kg. There is a calculator on the site for other countries.

dandurstonThank you for your response Dan, hopefully Amazon will do what you have just described. To be honest though, if I were Amazon, I wouldn't bother. It makes sense, from their perspective, to just sell it in the few select markets since they will definitely sell all the stock there. No reason to spend extra resources to offer it to other markets for the same price, but more work on their part. I just hope that Drop realise the potential market here and put in an enormous order next time. You really have a unique tent here and they could sell a lot more if they did more marketing - if they can get a rolling partnership with Sennheiser, why not the Vietnamese factory that makes these tents. The tent most similar to this one is the Sierra Designs High Route 1FL by Andrew, but that is Silnylon and 1 person tent. Nothing else compares. Trekking poles, offset peaks, silpoly, double wall, suitable for tall people, 2 person at just over 1.1 kg. Drop should really market this more, this could become a standalone brand, easily. Anyways, end of rant. Thank you again Dan for trying to provide a solution and for being here, even though you don't have to, it really is greatly appreciated.
