Great color and feel
I have never thought that I would fall in love with yellow but here I am. The MT3 profile feels a lot more comfortable than the KSA profile that I previously drove daily.

feels great, color is weird
I'm not sure what's going on with the colors, but the product marketing photos up there ^ are kind of a banana/butter yellow (#EDD959) but the keys I got are more like road stripe yellow/orange (#F7CC00). So I guess that's cool or whatever, but I really wanted the ones that were in the photo, not these school bus keys. i saw other people's photos down below and they look fine, so maybe it's just RNG? maybe my monitor colors are just way way way off?
edit: i browsed reviews again and do see some that resemble the color yellow that i got, but i also see some that look just like the photos in the product shots, so... /shrug?

It is a good set, but I think hyped played against me
I am a big fan of MT3 profile and in general I am quite happy with all the sets I have in this profile. The Serika was the first one I ordered in pre-release and I was a bit excited about the color scheme (the yellow colors are great).
Once I received the keycaps, there are a couple of things I did not totally love:
- the profile of the bottom row (space bar and modifiers) is flat, different from the rest of the MT3 sets I own, which have a more aggressive angle
- I found the dye-sub legends a bit underwhelming. I own other dye-sub MT3 sets (LoTR) and I find those legends sharper and overall better designed and placed than the ones in the Serika set. The finishing of the legends in some modifiers feel a bit .. weak. I know dye-sub can be tricky, but Drop has shown in the past they can do better on MT3.

Excellent quality, great fit and finish, beautiful colors
I bought the Latin Core kit to replace an SA set I previously had on my new 65% board. This is my first foray into using MT3 keycaps and my second into PBT keycaps. The caps fit super tight on switch stems, I actually pulled a few switches out of my hot swappable board while testing pulling a few caps off. The material is quite thick compared even to double shot SA caps which gives them a nice deep sound on keystroke and the texture feels great compared to the slick ABS I'm used to. The cap colors look fantastic against a white case and I'm sure the contrast would look great on a black case as well.
Slightly annoyed that the core kit didn't come with an R1 Del key, had to use the provided R2 Del and there's absolutely no way I'm buying the $40 Macro Expansion add-on kit for just one key.

Super striking set and MT3 rocks your socks
I bought the entire Katakana Core on sale mainly for the gorgeous alphas with their amazing offwhite color and the set's dignified font. The yellow on the other keys is a REALLY striking and deep yellow. You might dig it, but it ended up being too jarring for daily driving. A great kit to offer would turn all the yellows into the black-on-charcoal color from the ESC and RETURN keys.

- April 17: Ordered keycaps listed as "ready to ship". Paid $15 for international delivery with tracking.
- April 18: Checked tracking information to see : "We are preparing your order. No order updates yet"
- April 22: Checked tracking information to see : "We are preparing your order. No order updates yet" Wrote to customer service to ask why tracking not updated.
- April 23: Response from customer service did not answer question about tracking information but instead linked website community post that explained Drop uses an international delivery consolidator to reduce shipping costs. Strange seeing as $15 for delivery of keycaps weighting a couple of hundred grams doesn't seem inexpensive to me. Maybe it is cheap for Drop and they are making additional margin from delivery costs? Asked to wait until May 17 before escalation.
- May 17: Checked tracking information to see : "We are preparing your order. No order updates yet"
Conclusion: No idea what they keycaps are like as I never received them. However Drop's service was lamentable: slow international delivery combined with lack of transparency over how long international delivery was likely to take. No way to speak to customer services by telephone or online chat leading to non-synchronous email messages in which there is room to mis-interpret questions being asked and responses. On the positive side I got my money refunded quickly by Drop. I'll use that to buy a similar MTNU profile instead of MT3 from a European vendor instead. And as my first order with Drop has been so poor it will be my last order with them also. Incidentally, I ordered a Q6 Max keyboard, 100 key switch tester, switch puller and 100% palm rest from Keychron 6 days ago. It arrived in Europe from China this morning. Shipping was $30 for a package far larger and heavier than a set of keycaps. Compare and contrast.
