PBT != rough feeling. I missed the drop on these, so I cannot comment on the specific feeling. However I have some Leopold PBT keycaps and they are rather smooth as well, much smoother than the cheap PBT keys I got from qtan. Still there is a clear difference when comparing those smooth PBT keys to ABS. When sliding over the key with your fingertip, you will probably still notice some roughness when directly comparing to ABS keys.
