I have one of these. It's ok, but the company has zero support. I contacted them after paying full retail (for a chair which where I live is $400) and discovering some defective parts. I haven't heard back from them and it's been over a month. Just a buyer beware heads up.

TapewormzI am sorry to hear that you had problems. E-Blue has given great support to the people of Massdrop. I tell you what, even though you did not purchase it from us I will personally have E-Blue get in contact with you ASAP to resolve your issue.
Curious though, do you have another color of the Cobra series as this colorway is an exclusive to Massdrop.

Tex-ArozziThanks for putting me in touch with someone from e-blue. I had emailed their american customer service a very nicely worded email about how I'm happy with the chair except there's a small defect that I'm sure they could have resolved inexpensively and quickly. My intention wasn't to drop negative or hateful comments here, I just figured the support wasn't there since I hadn't heard back. I appreciate your effort putting me in contact with someone. Thanks again.

Tex-ArozziHey there, quick question. I did happen to buy this through you guys and had a little trouble getting ahold of anyone over at eblue as well. I joined this drop last time it was available, not this time. The thing is, the chair was awesome, in terms of looks. I love Cobra, haha don't get me wrong. The problem was that upon opening the package (which was pretty banged up) I had discovered a bunch of the pieces inside to be strewn about loosely and a fairly ugly scratch on the sitting portion of the chair. I also found a few bolts/washers to be missing but even sucked it up and went to Home Depot for replacements. As far as those dissapointments went, they sucked pretty badly but I figured I could get over it once the chair was put together. I got the chair assembled and figured hey I'll deal with the aesthetics, not too big of an issue. But as far as the price I paid vs. comfort it was very stiff also had a huge pain adjusting position as others have mentioned. I guess what I'm getting at is I've repeatedly tried to get into contact with them (as I've since bought a new chair that is far more comfy) with the wish to resolve the situation but I haven't received even a simple acknowledgment. I did not wish to involve Massdrop as I know what you guys have done for us all and continue to do is truly amazing. But I was just considering a purchase or two (drooling) and noticed the drop for this chair was back up again and figured I'd ask for some advice.
(Btw for anyone reading this who might be considering the chair, don't get me wrong the hair looks AWESOME. It was just really not for me in terms of stiffness and the difficulty with which I had in adjusting the angle of the seat. Couple those things with what I'm 100% positive to be a rare incident in which sumn came loose and scratched the portion my ass would have graced, lol my point being: do not let my unfortunate misgivings dissuade you from joining in. Go Cobra.)

Tex-ArozziAbsolutely, and thank you! Your help would be very much appreciated. I still have it being stored in a safe & dry place in the house and still have all of the original packaging (98% sure) but definitely have the box it came in as well. Ya know, this speaks volumes to the level of care you guys do business. I really believe it will find a nice home with someone who will make good use out of it.

Tex-ArozziI'm not sure if you're still around as this post was a long time ago, but it's been about 16 months since I purchased my chair and the seat broke. I'd like to get a replacement base. I tried to get some help from Massdrop, but they give me the old "out of warranty, out of luck," line. Can you help me out?
