Got mine today, and it's pretty disappointing...first of all the white filters got ruined as i was simply unscrewing them to change filters so you start off with just 2 filters. and there's something about the sounds that just isn't right, i tried all the tips, sounds and songs but when ever there's a sounds with "S" in it it's scratching my brain i switch to my old earphones that cost 10$ and it's smooth on those high tunes. could be i got a defected product?

fallenout1Make sure you've got a good seal, but yeah these are known for having very aggressive treble that could definitely cause sibilance like you describe. Unlikely to be defective.
