BandarHard to say, as awesome a product this is, it has limited application outside of fairly specific transportation needs. Outside of urban dwellers, I'm just not sure how this can be presented as a win.

wild_oneHaha fair play, wild_one. If anyone is waiting for the lowest drop before purchasing, I would like to point out that not only is the scooter more expensive ordering directly from EcoReco, but the shipping is more expensive, so don't let the $824.99 price deter you from joining. Also, I would like to mention the EcoReco staff have been great at corresponding via e-mail and have been very helpful.

James612Second what James says here. Direct purchase is $999, so you are saving enough to even get an extra charger or carrying bag (although I just plan on using a duffel bag).
Admittedly most US streets are unsuitable for vehicles other than cars, but otherwise I see a lot of uses for this, especially quick, spontaneous trips.
