Hi, just got mine... the instructions don't come in English. The Windows application does have an "en" language file, but I have not figured out how to change the language. I've done screen grabs and used Google Translate to get the menus at least somewhat translated (I used "simplified Chinese"). I've been able to get the clock to sync with my PC, and customize the dot-matrix display. The CPU, GPU, RAM and other system status displays require the AIDA64 Extreme system monitor software (according to the Tools UI), but I have not gotten it to sync or connect yet, and I have installed the drivers. The cities for the temp and weather are all Asian too, I don't see any US or European cities, thus far. So, still playing with it.
Oh, finally, the VU meter is what I'd call "ambient" or room sounds, not like from the audio levels of your sound card or anything.
Had the same question. From what we can see, nope. Windows only. Shame, because the data is trivial to provide.
I'm pretty sure it has a super simple HID/USB driver that periodically fires block-transferrable/blittable structs over the wire. That's me being optimistic as to quality, it could just be a dumb ser/deser exercise after querying WMI on a timer.
I decided not to buy as building my own from scratch is less work than reverse engineering their protocol.
