Warning: It's really easy for part of the connector to contact the aluminum top plate (or have a small enough air gap), and you can fry your Teensy board with static electrical shocks (sparks). It happened to me! So be sure to insulate your USB connector & cable where it joins the Teensy board. Just use a piece of electrical tape between the connector and the top plate.
