Got my ErgoDox kit from the August drop in early December, and spent a few hours over the holiday to put it together. It is the biggest electronics project I've ever undertaken, but took my time and it worked first try (though I had to re-solder a couple of switches).
I got the clear switches, DCS key caps, and the full hand rests. This is my first day using it, and I'm very pleased. I will be buying from the next offer, and replace both my Kinesis Advantage Pro keyboards.
If anyone else is interested, I made a custom key map with a primary Dvorak layout and identical punctuation keys (-/\][) as the Kinesis Advantage Pro because I've been using Kinesis keyboards for many years, and want to hit the ground running. I even put a Qwerty layout on layer three, so friends and co-workers can take the keyboard out for a spin.

Volume and mute keys are on layer four, and I've yet to figure out how to get the media keys working, but the worst case scenario is that I end up using AutoHotKey or Alfred to create software media hot keys. (-:
