anyone else had to adjust it so you can fit a thicker desk? I cant get these screws loose for the life of me.

I, too, can't loosen those screws at all. tried a power drill, and a screw driver, and just strip the screws

I also ended up stripping a screw to the point of no return. I contacted Ergotech's customer service directly through their website and received a replacement. You should do the same.

Also take the base with you to Home Depot get the right sized screwdriver. A Large one and that should help with the next unit.
