Where is this pen made? If it is made in the US = Yes, but if it is made in China = No.

schoi604That's a good question. The Esterbrook that sold that pen was always very unclear about the origin of the pens they sold.

benbot517Hi, I didn't mean to be cynical. I just wanted to clarify where this pen is made. Don't get me wrong, there are awesome pens that made in China but in this case I wouldn't pay $300+ for it. There are better China made pens out there that cost much less and with great quality, so buyers beware!

schoi604Judging by the overall design of the pen, it bears similarities to those made by grifos, so perhaps Italy? Knowing the history behind the new Esterbrook though, I’m personally gonna pass on this one. That, and it’s a lot of money for a steel nib.
