Strong, smooth, and see-through, Everglide’s first stabilizer set was a big hit in the mech keys community. Now, the second generation has arrived with updated housings and two additional colorways Read More
Would these work with the Glorious GMMK Pro? New to enthusiast keyboarding and have a Glorious GMMK reserved but hear that the stabilizers aren’t great.
The GMMK Pro does use screw in stabs, but many people have had issues fitting other stabilizers into the plate, especially the metal options. So your results may vary.
I ordered one pair to use on my GMMK Pro. The original GOAT stabilizer is nightmare. I took about 5 hours to fix every iusse I met. Finally I realized I might have to replace both stem and housing. So I want to try EVERGLIDE. Because I ordered GMK Laser set as well. If I could remeber it, I'll back and update the feedback.
DeeeeeeoHi folks! Recived stabilizers and installed them. First of all, I'd like to say the diemension is too big to fit into the gasket plate, neither the aluminue plate nor the brass plate. I have to use file to make it fit. Secondly, this one is better than the GOAT stabilizer, but still not good enough. Have to adjust for a long time. And I can hear the sound of wire touching the stem after lubed, slightly. Finally, the pink color is very suiting ZealPC Rosélio switch.
Deeeeeeoaftermarket stabilizers only work with the poly plate for the GMMK pro. This is an issue with glorius unfortunately, not with the ever glide stabs. If you are having trouble with rattle still, try the Holee mod (hamaji neo has a tutorial on youtube). It will fix all your problems.
ThirtySixxThank you for your advise, my friend! Yes, I used Holee mod. It's good for rattle. BTW, I switched to Durock PCB Screw-ins stabs which were taken off from a KBD75V2 purchased from eBay. It's fit. But still not as good as it worked on the KBD75V2. After couple weeks, I exchanged the switches to MD holy pandas. I feel the blank bar becoming much better.
They likely would not work with the GMMK PRO. GMMK uses their own proprietary "GOAT stabilizers" that are just a tad shorter and a tad thinner than regular aftermarket stabs.
Most YouTube tech reviewers like BadSeedTech and Taeha Types could not get aftermarket stabilizes to fit but another YouTube tech reviewer, Brandon Taylor, had no issues at all.
