I would recommend this to friends and family...
My recommendations are pretty binary: either I like the product enough to recommend to friends and family, warranting a 5-star, or I don't and it get's a 1-star. In this case, I like this product. Though a bit on the smallish size, I find the size just right for portability and ease of use. The diamond side cuts quickly through the steel of my kitchen and EDC knives, and the honing stone is fine enough to smooth it all out. I haven't tried putting green honing clay on the back of the leather pouch as I want to keep that nice looking, so instead I use my trusty leather strop. You won't get a mirror edge with this product, but as an in-between for longer sharpening sessions with multiple stones, it is a handy tool to have around, keeping your knives sharp.
