Why are the mythics not included in this pack?

KrimsonBecause it's ~40% more for almost 4 times the cards. Plus most decks don't run 4 of any mythics.

Or Monastery Swiftspear.
I agree that including Mythics would drive up the price by quite a bit, but nowhere in the listing does it specify that Mythics aren't included.

KrimsonMythics would add close to $400 to the cost at current pre-sale prices.
Additionally, you can buy a playset of all uncommons and commons for about $35. There are maybe only 8 rares worth more than $2 each currently and a playset of those rares comes to about $88 (at SCG prices), leaving a playset of the bulk rares to fill in the other $132 left of this purchase (at the lowest point--$1.22 for each copy; more if you lower the SCG prices of those 8 rares to where they should be).
