I purchased one of their Reserve series 8 inch chef knives off of Amazon.com just last week. I returned it for a number of reasons, but it was just poorly made for the price. KavikI see what you mean. It is a shame because I think their designs are attractive both from a aesthetic and function perspective. I also like the fact that they're made in the US. Hopefully their quality control will improve with time.

KavikAn "apple seed edge" is just a convex grind. It is what naturally happens when you sharpen a knife on the slack portion of a belt with a belt grinder.

dschiedlersure, but they don't even need to do that. they have s MIM sintered product, they can mold right down to the edge level and could release without even grinding it but they still do anyways. We can't think it ingot or billet level technology when we talk sintered products.
