I just wanted to share my experience to caution others: I have a hand that, across the knuckles, is about 3.75". I purchased this knife in the last drop. While I was really pleased with the quality of the product, it was simply too big for my hand. I was able to hold it just fine, but it clearly was made for larger hands (though I did read somewhere that the knife was intended for use with thick gloves, which is another possibility). Apparently, according to Lt.Dan, this means that I am not a man, but rather a little girl. After checking the grammar and spelling of his post though, I'm not sure he's the right person to be taking any sort of advice from...
Anyway, since I'm a bit anal retentive, I decided to sell my knife off and get the 599, which is (apparently) smaller. I was lucky and found a buyer on reddit (losing approximately $20 in the process).
Tl;dr: Knife is big. Too big for a hand measuring 3.75" across the knuckles. Might want to consider before you buy.
