I own one of these as my EDC. It a great knife, well made, and mine came *scary* sharp from the factory. The Emerson wave feature works pretty well, I would say 90% of the time. We've been working Karambit techniques into our self defense classes for interested student, and of 3 I own and the the 10 or so different models at our dojo the Fox stands out as being far superior to the others.

BubingaSorry, I am not. However there are many many Kenpo and Kajukenbo (a semi-related style) in CA so you are in luck just ask around, bet you can find one.
Or look for an Escrima or Kali class, which is the closer to the source...
