Just watched the video. I see many techniques around the 7 minute mark that are not part of the traditional techniques or are really only effective with a fixed blade double edge Karambit. The wide swings to cut across the body are not traditional strikes, and would be most effective with a fixed blade double edge. In the traditional style, you stay inside your shoulder area, no wild swings, and your techniques build upon each other up or down the body. The flipping of the blade forward with an us sharpened back blade is not the most effective use of the blade, and could allow a skilled opponent the time to grab your blade by the handle. The traditional style has a limited set of techniques, much easier to practice and use, but not necessarily flashy.
