method_burgerThis is way smaller than that though.. But a bravo 2 is a Hellova score. This might get you less concerned looks if you forget it in your hip walking into Walmart!

Kavikthe best one ive see, that i missed out, 250$ for a sebenza. with paperwork and everything. i got 11 pounds of chrome tanned leather for 40$ too (i hate chrome tanned leather but i couldnt pass it up after i missed the sebenza) there might be 2 good deals a year, just gotta constantly look. and theres the fact of actually going to meet a stranger about a knife lol.

method_burgerHow is it? Been eyeing those, but heard they have intermittent QC problems. Something about difficulty finding labor up in squatch country.

reswrightyeah theres a major qc issue with the ricasso not matching up. i think bark river's idea of QC is, if it doesnt affect performance, as long as its shiny, it doesnt matter. convex grind was pretty spot on, handles were mated very well (no gaps or anything) and the sheath... is probably the best part of the knife hahaha. ergos for bravo 2 though.. not great. thickest part of the handle is 1 in, and rather squared off. if it was maybe 0.6 in thickness it would be perfect. but its so thick it feels im holding a pipe, so my edge alignment is always off when chopping. eh.... i guess i can trade it for a bravo 1.5 hahaha

method_burgerYeah? Good looking out. They seem to work with some interesting steels and materials but until everyone involved with that has their 10k hours under their belt, it's just one more thing that makes 'em screw stuff up. Still, good on 'em digging in and making an effort.

reswrighti think i'm gonna try survive knives next. i heard they put wayyyyyy too much hand finishing into their products, which makes me very interested lol. i do want to keep a bark river knife in my collection/rotation, but just not this one.
