So my glycine arrived at my doorstep in Singapore at record time (1 week). It's a gorgeous watch and though I'm certainly happy to get my watch so early, I'm not too glad with the additional fee of $70 which was charged on delivery for me to get the watch. This fee was to cover the UPS worldwide expedited shipping, but I'm curious if this normal? Does massdrop use expedited shipping at random without any prior notice? For my countless drops in the past, I've never been hit with a charge on delivery fee or had my items shipped using the expedited service. And if I'm paying a delivery fee upon collection, why did I pay for shipping and handling through massdrop ?
Any advice from the community would be greatly appreciated.
