I was gutted when the last drop sold old, I told myself I'd join in the next time. Was about the pull the trigger and then I asked myself, what do I like about this watch other than that it's bronze? Truthfully, not much. The SS glycine never appealed to me. Looks like a seiko 5 blancpain homage in many ways. I decided to save the money and go for the san martin vintage diver instead.

WhootThat's close, but the steinhart does not have the super dome crystal, and the crowguard and the tall crown do ruin it. That steihart with a tudor BB style crown and the bubble crystal (like oris sixty five, or bambino) would have been perfect (for me). The san martin watch I ordered at the top fell through, the seller could not source it from his supplier and san martin have stopped producing it. They have the watch in GMT form, IMHO the GMT bezel is a completely different watch. https://www.wrwatches.com/product-page/san-martin-gmt I just wanted the vintage diver because it was so close to the vintage rolex and the bubble crystal makes it look so special. it's not widely done, which makes it stand out from other sub homages. The GMT san martin has the flat crystal which I am not a fan of.
