I recently got this headset, and wow is it good. My only issue is when certain people talk on discord, I can hear a really high pitched ringing. I fiddled with a bunch of settings, computer audio and discord, and nothing seems to solve the issue. It is primarily if not all in my right ear only. Is there something wrong with my headset, or was that ringing always there I can just hear it cause the headset is THAT good? I haven't had any issues with any other application, though I have yet to test if I can hear the ringing on a different version of discord, say on my xbox instead of my pc. Only other issue I've had is occasional static, but I can't tell if it's from the headset or the show/game/etc.

I don't have any gear on the level of this, but I am definitely into high quality audio, so it can't be said that I'm not the intended audience, as I would most definitely purchase $2,000 worth of audio gear...But it would have to be worth it...And in Making that decision, I'd be asking myself a lot of tough questions, and I'd be reaching out to the enthusiass around me for help with answers...But what I see in here isn't even close to that.
I'm seeing a lot of fanboyism, which is great, and to be expected with a $2,000 product (at a $1500 price, no less) having dedicated fans of a product is a good thing, and can lend credibility to a name.... However, this is just rampant, and wholly subjective.
I've seen multiple queries about benchmark comparisons and contests between like-priced units either go unanswered or followed by "you just don't get it". I guess when a person spends $2k on something, they're ready to defend it to the death, because if it doesn't come out on top, they'll feel "robbed" of a lot of money or something.
I'm sure it's a fantastic amplifier and looks to have excellent build quality...But I don't understand the people blindly throwing accusations at People who are looking for objective discussion.
And yes, it IS possible to have an objective discussion about a subjective experience... Because you can quite easily write two separate reviews, read them next to each other, then find the similarities or differences. The fact that many of the people in this thread are incapable of doing so is beyond me.
The response from egrace was a little better, but even they peppered in the classic "you just don't understand". You work for the company...Your job is to help interested consumers understand! If I were you, I'd be pretty pissed off reading the thread...I saw multiple unbiased critical queries answered with ridicule or "you just don't get it"...Those responses are driving away potential customers. Aside from that, I do get where you're coming from and why you feel the product deserves a premium price... Obviously your company will have to defend that specific price point, but I do like the attitude of "let's do this better than we ever thought we could". I'm not faulting you for their responss, I'm just disappointed by them and figured you might be too
It's not like the people asking if it's worth it are running $5 earbuds...They seem legitimately interested in high end audio; it's sad to me that the responders in this thread can't see that. Sure, there will always be that person who says, "omg I am perfectly happy with my $5 earbuds this is so stupid"....Bit that's not who is in this thread and deep down we ALL know that.
If somebody asked you, SINCERELY, whether evolution was real, and how we know that it is, you wouldn't just say "you just don't underSTAND broooo". You'd explain it, you'd share the data and the evidence. Again, this is a subjective experience and so it's difficult to draw a direct comparison there, but the spirit still stands. Nobody is going to give a shit about what you say if you aren't providing Actual reasons and evidence, even if that evidence is based on your personal experience and opinion.
