Hi All,
We spoke to our contact earlier today and have updated news for you! The vendor will be sending over a batch of shipments next week. They are still producing these so finally tallies are unavailable, but we will let you guys know what to expect as soon as these arrive. We will keep you posted on this batch and the outstanding orders throughout the process.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 11/6 or sooner if something comes up.

HassanSFirst come first serve? Please tell me you are sending the product based where the customers are on the order list. If Mass Drop ships CONUS first then Internationally there will be a RIOT!

rodgaroonI don't want to deny anyone their caps, this has been delayed enough as it is. But, it will be a massive slap in the face if anyone who joined after the drop re-opened gets a delivery from the first batch.

NathanRossPowellDon't take this the wrong way but... how's this a slap in the face? Were we supposed to know this drop had a limit? It's not like the actual timeframe got extended...
In my opinion we'll all get our caps... And no one should get special treatment because they were in the drop "first". We were all charged for our caps at the same time.. And this was placed as one group order. As far as I'm concerned we all ordered these at the same time. The expected delivery date would have been late by more than a month regardless of the drop reopening. .. As even the original numbers surpassed all expectations. So let's not take it out on each other or at the size of the order... As no one saw it coming.

PacwageoNo one's saying people who joined later shouldn't get the caps. But they're going to have to ship out in batches and it's only logical that they ship out in the order they were ordered.

kylehamptonWhy should someone who is "On the Fence" get their product before someone who put money right away? The early bird gets the worm. The first X people should get their product. If I have to wait with everyone I'm OK with that but if someone who joined 600th gets their product before someone in the 40's that's BS. We voted on GeekHack to let everyone get in on this group buy and wait....now you are telling me that I should wait longer then someone we were nice enough to let in late?

rodgaroonNo one was let in late... the drop ended early and without proper communication. A lot of us were waiting on payday to join the drop.
It would've been one thing if the original limit was communicated and we were all screwing around until the last minute to join the drop...if it was then reopened after all of that... then I would totally agree with you.... but that was not the case here. We all thought we had some time for funds to arrive... and then it just mysteriously ended the night before payday. That's hardly fair right?
MassDrop and SP, in this sense, dropped the ball. These limits should have been communicated. And because they weren't... we are now playing the waiting game. Again, as I said before, we shouldn't take this out on each other. This order got screwed up from the beginning... when proper limits were not communicated.
In all honesty... I hope you do get your caps before me... even though I disagree with the first come fist serve approach when it comes to group ordering... I think maintaining the peace is more important. I was just trying to share my opinion on the matter.
Also, much love for the GeekHack community... I just joined a couple months ago. Lots of cool stuff going on over there.

PacwageoI really don't mind waiting. I would 100% rather all the orders get sent out together, and wait another month. But if Mass Drop and SP are going to be doing batches then I truly believe that the first people who signed up should be sent their products before the second wave.
