guzmanistanI don't know about this one but Huion and Wacom tablets feature LH mode in their drivers so that you can flip the tablet around and use the extra buttons with your right hand as you draw. If this feature is not listed on monoprice's site then make sure to ask customer support whever there is such a mode first (Huion didn't have it listed even though it was featured so make sure to ask).
ShuaiReply from Monoprice about tablet LH (left hand) mode:
"In regards to your inquiry, unfortunately the settings would allow you to change the orientation of the tablet since the drivers are default. However, I have let our product team know about having this feature for future tablets. "
Not sure exactly what they're attempting to say - I'm assuming their driver does NOT cover it.
guzmanistanThe product page on the Monoprice site has a new driver available for download: Drivers for Windows (v 9.0) (July 16, 2014). It allows Left Hand config. I've installed it and Left Hand config works. Unfortunately, the User's Manual available for download is older and still references the old config panel. Monoprice Tech Support was not aware of change; they kept asking me to look for the old plaunch program. The Support technician finally installed the new driver himself and noted that "they" had changed things in the new driver.
The new driver installs a Tablet Driver icon on the Windows Desktop. It does nothing except to deliver a message that the program is running. In the Hidden Icons panel on the Status Bar, there's the same Tablet Driver icon. Double clicking on it brings up the Config panel. It's very different from the old tabbed panel referenced in the user manual. It does contain a Left Hand check box along with other setting options. The Left Hand does work.
