I bought the ebony (full sized) wrist rest. It is NOT ebony. It is stained maple which is easy to determine from the grain and by the fact that they didn't even stain it well. I paid a premium for the ebony so I feel completely cheated.

BirdieI too purchased the "Ebony" version. Are you absolutely certain? Because false advertisement is no joke. I really hope Massdrop can take care of it...

AndyHamasakiYes, absolutely certain. Here is an image of the back. The imprinted logo and surrounding area came scratched up, they didn't take the stain well (or much at all). You can see that the actual wood is blonde.

BirdieI'm sorry to say this but I think mine is actually Ebony. I'm no wood expert but mine doesn't look quite like yours.

I've used a needle to pick out the dent that it came in. The wood seemed to be brown still.

BirdieRoyal Glam seems to be a hocus pocus brand that doesn't exist outside of Mass Drop and the link you pointed to in Burma.

BirdieAnd now I see that some WERE in fact imprinted... Though I don't recall the "free your hands" being on the photos of the round I bought. Regardless mine has no stamp.
