So I'll have my Dragon Fusion knife pretty soon.
And I was reading that I'll want a good board to cut stuff on.
And this thing here seems to be that board based off the numerous woods used to make it. Like pretty impressive and beautiful.
I just don't know if I want it with the design they've choosen.
Lastly, that price is up there.
Money's not an issue. It's that I'm new to this and would feel bad if I destroyed it as I am me. So.
BrainFlushYou remember I was on the fence about the Fusion drop? I decided to let it pass and I joined the drop for the Hauform Staggered edge grain cutting board instead. I was having second thoughts due to the overly long vs wide dimensions, but I settled on the medium size, as it was less 2X1 in appearance than the large size.
This one looks like it is almost 2.5X1, a lot more length than width. That wouldn't work with the counter space I have. I also don't care for dye on a cutting board.
BTW, I also got the word on Friday that Massdrop is shipping my three Dragon knives now. Can't wait to get them!
MadManBroDude let me see your 3 knives when they get there.
And I'll look up your board.
This one is dyed? I thought it's the colors of the wood. I know it said it's oil coated for protection but I didn't take that to mean dyed. Reading again.
BrainFlushIt is my presumption that the wood is dyed. I didn't read the description myself. I have visited the Hauform website though and it seems like an interesting company.
MadManBroThank you for your purchase. Can't go wrong with the classic staggered.
All of our cutting boards are natural. No dyes are added to our products. This is the natural color of the wood.
