A complete, knockoff of the Zodiac Super Sea Wolf. Pretty disgusting that MassDrop supports this IP theft of design and even the exact colorways that Zodiac created.
HRLGY
Considering that comment is made by one pompous ass or another each time this watch drops, two points come to mind:
First, congratulations on being this (short-lived) drop's, hands-down, Pompous Ass award winner. Your check is in the mail.
Second, this is MD--if you're shopping for Zodiacs, you know where to find them. Same is true for 99% of all the four-figure (and up) priced watches in the world that will never end up on this site.
Not to get too technical on you, but ALL watches are in some way influenced by ALL other watches. It may have escaped your attention, but most watches are round, most have twelve numbers and most tick. No manufacture has a lock on any aspect of their watch, other than their trade marked logo (and possibly some patented processes lying beneath it). Zodiac didn't invent bakelite bezels (regardless of color), they borrowed that sixty-eight year old idea from Blancpain's original Fifty Fathoms diver, an so far as I know, Blancpain doesn't have a problem with it.
But getting back to MD, you know what's "disgusting"?
I think it's pretty disgusting they let little whiners like you on their site!
But hey--it's a free country (for the moment), and they'd be thrilled it if you bought something while you here.
So you go gurl!
RayFWow, are you gender-shaming now, or is there something even more insidious in this attempted joke?
Extreme chauvinism, thinly veiled racism, and constant berating of others... definitely why people come to a watch site.
You’re a stand up guy, RayF.
RayFNope. I’m not outraged at all. But it is appropriate to call people out on excessively negative and boorish behavior. Don’t see how labeling or other efforts at name-calling does anything other than prove the point.
Have a good one, and maybe try being kind sometime. Good luck.
You go, non-specific gender individual!
