DHL is a terrible choice. I like the idea of Massdrop, so I support it - and certainly, if you 'need something yesterday' you wouldn't purchase something this way. Massdrop is about saving a few bucks on something, discovering other little gadgets, etc.
That said, the shipping/tracking issues are just silly. You can get a package from coast to coast in a couple days for nominal cost nowadays. Not sure where my package is (USPS nor DHL knows). It's in my state though! Maybe.
If I am interested in a Massdrop purchase and confirm (before joining in) that this is how they ship items, then I wouldn't join the drop.
