For the price, I don’t think you can go wrong with these, but the dye-sub print quality on these is substandard, character edges are pretty diffuse. Like myself, most people will buy these because of the cool profile, and they do not disappoint in this regard! The material has a rough-ish grainy texture that I kind of like, but may be a deal breaker for some. Overall, these caps seem a lot like something a talented amateur might craft in their garage. I mean that in the best way, as despite the flaws, these are the among the most interesting in my collection. They’re not for everyone.
If you're looking for a good MA keycap set, this won't steer you wrong. It's not as high quality as GMK stuff, or some of Drop's MT3/DCX stuff, but it's good for the price.
I got these caps because they were clearly grey in the photos
Upon getting them it's very different and it's just white legends that kinda bleed into the black making all the edges look grey and unclean, not at all the grey on black shown in the description
This Product feels great so far, but my biggest issue with these is the representation of "Monochrome" isn't great. I purchased the black keys hoping these would be good for an all-black setup. They aren't, they are basically black keys with white lettering. Definitely not what you would expect from the renders. I get some deviations to happen, but not this much.
Honestly, this was one of my first sets I bought when getting into the hobby and I use them for all of my builds just to get them off the ground, or if I know I'm testing out a board. I know that makes it sound like I'm not rating them very highly, but for the price, I think they're a great set and they sound and feel great too. I'm not a MASSIVE fan of the profile, but that's a personal preference and not indicative of the quality by any means. But hey, at least I was able to learn that lesson by spending as little as I did on these and in the end, I still have a great, safe back up set of keycaps when needed.
