wouldn't this thing just fall out if say, during a workout?

I bought these on Amazon. IMO they're great but quick head movements made them shift out of my ears, even with well fitting tips, silicone or foam. Rocking my head to a song makes them come out sometimes so I'd assume exercising would be worse.

CHRI5TThats very true. Regardless this is still a great iem. I just wouldn't use it for exercising based on my own experience with it.

There are three things that hold IEMs in during movement: 1) they hook over your ears - that's why there's a bend in the cable; 2) the shape of the driver housing conforms fairly well to the inside of your ear; and 3) the tip should be fairly solidly in your ear, forming a bit of a seal. Between these, good IEMs will tend to stay in your ears during moderate movement, but they don't necessarily do well with quick head movements.

IEMs aren't water resistant, so I wouldn't recommend using them for workout anyways
