Actually a nice looking watch from Ingersoll. This would be a great watch around 38mm but 45mm everybody looks like a tool wearing such a large watch. Like the guy 2 posts down with a 5 inch wrist thinking he's the coolest guy in town not realizing everybody will think your a poser. Kind of sad to see a decent design being ruined like this. The trend of oversized watches is over, its time watch companies meet current standards. Can anybody please confirm if this watch has an NH35 movement? I've noticed Massdrop tends to leave the movment type out when the watch contains a run of the mill movement. I might actually buy this to remove strap and use it as a desk clock

BigTipperHello. Thank you for your interest. This watch has a Miyota 8217 movement.

BigTipperWell, I'll tell you, Ryan--speaking for myself (and my good buddy @Demiann in the abstract) I'd like to point out that everybody gets to wear what they want around here, including whatever size they want. Now I'm guessing (from your whining words of parroted wisdom) that you are one of our slim-wristed members (probably very much so), and that you prefer watches in the unisex to ladies department size range (and in today's world, are free to wear them), however not all members are as insecure about the size of their appendages, nor do they feel they must abide by the dictums of those who are. Now some like 'em big, and others like 'em small--and you're certainly welcome to advocate for you choice--but what you can't do is dis another member for their choice. All of which is to say, you annoying little wanker, that if you're going to belittle a guy who was only trying to help other members make an informed purchase discussion--when he posted his photo, you are not likely to make many friends here. And as "tools" go, you seem to be the kind who could use a few watch-knowledgeable friends-- the sort who could point out it would be a cold day in hell before you'd find an NH35 movement in a bloody Ingersoll--although I admit even without friends, you could have learned as much from reading the other comments on this page, and every other Ingersoll drop to date. But all that aside, you should thank your little sting-bean sized Radials for likely preventing you from buying one of the least attractive (discontinued) watches in the Ingersoll line up. Even if it were available at 36mm, I doubt it would help you--not because of the size per se, but because a watch can't change the guy who's wearing it--you'd likely look like a "tool" in any watch ;- )

BigTipperI understand that a 45mm might not look good on your 6” wrist, but on a 7.5”+ they wear just fine . Watches come in all sizes, just like condoms... feel free to size down player, but don’t be a hater!

RayFJesus Christ, all the dude complained about was people wearing oversized watches and all you can focus on as far as reasoning is that he's limp wristed. There's different opinions to be thrown out there and the idea that an oversized watch on a small wrist looks ridiculous is hardly out there in terms of rarity. You absolute boomer.

Kamsa12Frankly Scarlet, I don't give a damn how big his wrist is or how big the watch is--I'm just sick and tired or hearing people complain about the size some other guy made watch "X" or "Y", or the size some pair of genes teamed up to make his damn wrist--wimpy or not! Piss and moan all you like, but don't tell other folks what god damn size to make their fucking watches, or how many millimeters this way or that way it would take to make you a buyer instead of whiner--we don't care. Same goes for your idea of what watch is too big for another guy to wear--we don't care about that either. And here's a news flash for you: there's no such thing as an oversized watch or a too fucking small wrist! There's just the watches you buy, and the watches you don't. Size (with the exception of your wallet) is never part of the equation.

RayFOversized watches will always look ridiculous, that's part of the point. It's also a fact. More importantly, it doesn't change that your main argument against the dude was that due to his, as perceived by you, "slim wrists", he need wear watches that are feminine but acceptable in modern times, all according to you. If THAT isn't telling what people should or shouldn't wear, I can't see where you make the connection that oversized watches being ridiculous is judging people for their choices.

RayFYour connection was mainly that people shouldn't decide what size watch fits best a person and judge if he chooses otherwise, a point you yourself refuted when you tried to make a point about the guy you were replying to wearing feminine small watches. Small watches on big wrists look out of place and big watches on small wrists look ridiculous. Whether a person cares about that or not is entirely up to them, regardless of that, it remains a fact.
