I've looked over the description and can tell that my phone (iPhone 5 with OtterBox Defender case) should work width wise (I'm at ~2.7" wide), but what is the maximum phone (+case) thickness which would work for the car mount?

MrsMantheron"Holds devices with widths of 2.3-3.2 inches" from http://www.iottie.com/Product/Detail/1073/iOttie%20Easy%20One%20Touch%202%20Universal%20iPhone%205s,5c,%20Galaxy%20Note%203,2,%20Galaxy%20S5,S4%20Smartphones
By the way, I went through a lot of car mounts, and I even remember when iOttie didn't have the sticky pad, but their newer lines with the sticky pads are simply the best car mounts you can find unless you want qi charging. I've bought 4 of them over the last few years, not because any of them broke, but because I bought some as gifts and got a bigger phone.

neil.patelWould you say your case on your 6+ is thin or thick? I've got a a Pelican ProGear Protector case on my 6+ and I'm thinking it might be too thick.
