webb264webb264 the tabArm comes with 3 different products. tabMount, articulating arm, and the clamp we have two different tabMounts the tabMount and tabMount Pro the pro is designed for the iPad pro. If you would like the pro go ahead and buy one but just leave a note letting us know you need the tabMount pro.
iStabilizerAnother question- which version might hold a Surface Book (detached tablet) securely? It's a 13" tablet with the following dimensions: 12.3 by 8.67 by 0.3 inches (31.24 cm × 22.02 cm × 0.76 cm) and it weighs 1.6 pounds (0.73 kg). All things considered, it's not really bulky or heavy at all but it's just on a larger scale than the "average" tablet. I've yet to come across a tablet mount that I'd be confident placing the Surface Book on, but this one seems pretty sturdy.
nickm50We have the tabMount Pro that would securely hold your Surface Book! Just let us know with a note in the checkout or something that you need a tabMount Pro.
iStabilizerThanks! One more question- What is the maximum reasonable distance I can extend the arm forward? The desk I'm using currently is actually a giant table and the only suitable mounting point would be from the hole in the middle of the table (for wires and things).
I suppose the weight of the Surface may have an impact on the distance it can be extended, but on average what would you say is the max horizontal distance from the base that I can extend it to?
iStabilizerI need a tabMount Pro. Ordered this specifically for my iPad pro. There was nowhere in the order to leave a note. Will this comment suffice, or should I send an e-mail to customer support? The drop ends in a day and I would hate to receive a mount which doesn't hold my iPad pro. Rapid feedback is greatly appreciated at this point. Thanks in advance!
