KGZRI think you'd best look for an EF nib. Japanese nibs tend to be one size smaller than their European counterparts. If you really need the finest line, you can still buy a XXF from fpnibs or any nibmeister. This pen uses standard jowo #6 without the nib collar. You just pull the nib and feed out. Hope it helps!

KGZRIt is just like a Jowo #6 steel nib. (think Edison, Bexley, Gate City, Laban) A pretty standard nib. Not at all like a Sailor nib. Not as fine, not of gold. Writes Kind of in the middle between Asian nibs and European. It's a very nice writing pen. Big pen that feels good in your hand. You would do better to order direct from MrPen. A bunch of us ordered the Parson's Essential in October and we still have not received our pens. When I've ordered direct, MrPen gets a pen to me here in Delaware 4 days after placing the order. Go check the discussion on the last Mr. Pen Parsons Essential.

Luke5403Dec 11, 2016. To get a similar ink line to a Sailor fine, you will have to order an Extra Fine in this pen.
