naterwProbably china or India, there official website just says "imported" which generally means they don't really want you to know, frankly this company is a little suspect
naterwha! Many people wear jeans made in China without even knowing. The reality of it is that even brands that say "Japanese denim" are now manufacturing in China at factories operated by Japanese companies to cut costs, and then they sell them to you as Japanese denim (they won't say Made in Japan because they can get sued, so they keep the wording loose). The denim industry is a lot trickier than most people care to know about.
Jean Shop also has a diffusion line of Made-in-the-USA jeans, but the selection and availability is very limited and we couldn't make a group buy happen for them this time around. We'll look into it. But also, we wanted to offer a taste of their washes that they're also known for, and those only come in their overseas production.
