It seems like all the information you guys here are asking is available on the amazon page for this product, http://www.amazon.com/Juiced-Systems-Smart-Charging-Aluminum/dp/B00JEL9F7K
What I want to know is what's the purpose of the on/off switch. Does it switch off the power supply disabling high current charging but leaves the usb ports working on passive power? OR does it switch off the hub entirely i.e. nothing is detected when a usb device is plugged in.

chris_n26It turns the hub entirely off. I have one of the smaller hubs.
