m.i.k.aM.i.k.a, This hub is brand new and was just released. No reviews yet. All data ports can work at the same time. The Smart Charging function is recognized when the data cable has been disconnected, so there is no confusion what the user is attempting to do. Also the USB 3.0 data ports can charge devices but when in data mode all USB ports have a cap or are limited in their power output. Usually it caps off at 900mAH. When in charging mode, 2.1 amps output is the max current.

Problems I have with similar dock from Anker: - not all ports are working (especially at the same time, due to "smart" functionality); - non-dedicated for charging ports MAY charge the device, but may not (same port may just stop doing it) - doesn't seem to be dependent on number of plugged devices.
Without reviews it's impossible to say if same problems persist here...
