I love this product idea, and it looks to be well-made. Especially nice is that they seem to have used heavy gauge cables for the clamps. I am tempted to try to make my own version of this. Edit: It occurs to me that these devices probably use polymer lithium ion battery modules of the sort found in laptops. The concern that jumps to mind is the effect of leaving these charging in a hot car in the summer. That sounds like a recipe for a melt-down at best and fire at worst. I hope the designers have done their due-diligence.

Juno Power said these will be just fine in the trunk or glovebox, the operating temperature is from -4F to 140F. They do not recommend leaving these in direct sunlight though.
