It says 2 months left on the pre order, but I have an est ship date of Dec. 23rd. So would I be getting mine prior to the end of preorder?

does the kit that comes with switch film work like any other film? do you just put it between the bottom housing and top to reduce empty space or is it some other form of film I am not aware of
