Unfortunate choice of steel. Would buy if it has at least a 8Cr14MoV steel.

skystealthYou'd prefer it to be made in China?

messwavIf it has better steel, I wouldn't mind. Having it made it China doesn't mean it awful.

skystealthNah I get what you mean. I have a couple of 8Cr13MoV ones that are very well built; I just appreciate the opportunity to get a US-made one for under $30. That said, I'm still on the fence with this one.

messwavChina made Kershaws are hit or miss... fit and finish is all over the place compared to USA knives including the Links I have seen and own. I get a cryo or thermite and each one is different and needs a different edge dehorned. Just saying. My favorites lately are the Cryo G10, and the RJ I and RJ II. Nice CHINA knives. But if you hate CHINA, try a REATE or Kizer. They will make stuff as cheap or as high quality as they are paid to make it. They have the technology.
