Hey everyone - I'm so sorry that many of you have received the wrong knife! We are investigating what happened with the vendor as well as working on a resolution and will keep you up-to-date as soon as we have more information.
In the meantime, please submit a support ticket using the My Transactions tab in your Member Profile so we have a total count of issues. This will help in conversation with the vendor for a speedy resolution.
Again, we apologize for this shipment error. We certainly understand that the timing isn't ideal with the holidays upon us next week, even if some of these are personal gifts...!

KatieAregardless of what happened with the vendor, Massdrop still need to double check the items, once received at the warehouse, before sending them out.

KatieAThat is now 0-3 for you Massdrop. First order was defective (admittedly not your fault and was handled well), still waiting on my second pair of socks on order #2, and now I order a drop point and get a tanto. I understand the occasional screw up but every order is ridiculous no matter whom you wish to blame.

CascadianAaronCan't blame Massdrop for this. Like Katie said: "this one didn't go through our warehouse. "

Its_itsSaying "it didn't go through our warehouse" is a bullshit excuse. We ordered from Massdrop and therefore they are responsible for getting our orders correct. I've had three orders with them and all three have had issues. I predict they'll be out of business in less than a year at this rate.

CascadianAaronThey're responsible for getting us our orders. They have no way in knowing if it's correct or not. How could they when they're not packaging it or shipping it? Massdrop doesn't package and ship every order on their website, it's up the the vendor to do that. Ultimately it's the vendors fault they they switched the two knives and Massdrop is attempting to fix it.

Its_itsAre they attempting to fix it? I haven't heard anything in a week about the Fox River Sock screw up from them. Who knows what they are going to do and how they might prevent future screw ups since the communication is all but non existent except "we're investigating it". Investigating what, doesn't matter why it happened, it happened and they need to fix it instead of giving excuses.

KatieAI do apologize for that, Massdrop still bare the responsibility to double check with the vendo, before the vendor sending the mass order out.

KatieAWhen should we expect an update on this issue? Are we supposed to ship it back for an exchange? IMO even if we do get a full refund/exchange it's still a big waste of time & energy to have to pack it and ship it back so that you can fix your(or your vendor's) screwups. Is this a common thing with Massdrop(just wondering since this is my first purchase here)?
