only problem with the Blur is the handle being so rough. Scratches my hand if I reach into my pocket for something when clipped to my pants. Personal preference there, the Blur is for rough conditions. Otherwise it opens easily, but never without the proper hand movement. Really a great design, I just will they came with a smooth handle. Personally I prefer my Kershaw Shallots.
The inserts are rubber - I'm sure it doesn't break the skin :) It can cause friction when deploying the knife from the pocket though, but also keeps it right where you left it. It probably sticks about as well as g10 in the pocket, but I prefer g10. The inserts are great overall because a smooth aluminum knife is too slippery IMHO... like the LINK. Opposite would be the Presidio.
I have this knife already and the rubber insert are too grippy for my taste.
Gotta get your hands on a version with carbon fiber inserts :). Won't be disappointed!
