I can't believe I didn't think about using the laser engraver at my local makerspace to add patterns to mine until now... I bought two during the original kickstarter and have used it since. The secondary 'tools' don't do anything except the bottle opener. I'm also not sure why the details say it can only hold 2 keys, it can hold significantly more.
