I can't speak for others and I saw some negative comments from the drop earlier this year, I decided to take the chance and everything worked out perfectly. I received the right Kizer and it was perfect - new logo, steel lock bar insert, etc. This knife may not be comparable to my Sebenza 21 or my Inkosi, but I think it's every bit as good as the 3 zero tolerance knives I have and this design is probably my favorite.
As I said, I can't speak for others and no way would I dismiss their issues but I was so pleased the last time, I entered again.

DavidVI am in on a couple other Kizer drops and I may join this one in a day or so. I have found many vendors fail to update photos of the updated Kizer knives, most of which use the steel lock bar insert. I understand that many people like to complain, but when there was a messup with the wrong knife sent by the vendor, Massdrop handled it to my satisfaction without my needing to remind them. I am used to waiting for some things I order and I always have the option of paying more for some things I just want/need right away.

DavidVHey David, since you own the knife, could you please tell me if the logo is the same as the one on Massdrop or the one on Knifecenter? Thanks!

ThemistoclesHello! It's not the logo above, it's the new logo in the Massdrop photo. I just pulled the knife out and took some pictures - thought that would be a good idea :-)

DavidVDoes yours say "Kim Ning" next to "V3" on the blade? Can't quite see in the photo. As far as I know there are 3 different versions of this knife out there and I want to make sure there isn't a 4th variation..

sdraper"V3" is the name of the product line. From another Kizer drop on here: “Veni, Vidi, Vici,” in Latin or “I came, I saw, I conquered” in English: Julius Ceasar’s famous words are the inspiration for the Kizer V3.
It would be nice if Kizer put some kind of version number on the knives since they seem to "refresh" them regularly!

awkHello! Yes, I just checked and it says Kim Ning - the script is pretty small and runs just above the handle scale.

DavidVHey David, it looks like it needs a special tool for the pivot screw. If so, did it come with it? Thanks.

SefaliIt doesn't come with the tool but you can still unscrew it as long as you can turn the two opposite notches together.
