Metal don't make good toothpicks. They are too rigid and could do harm to the teeth.

cong314159you must not get teeth cleanings done then. Every dental hygenist i have been to has always used metal picks on and between my teeth.

jhonisOf course they use it in clinics. But your dentist suggest you to use metal toothpicks by yourself? Are you sure?

cong314159Lol... Yes they have recommended metal dental kits for home use to help keep spaces between molars and crowns clean. You can get em on Amazon for $15. Even scrape the plaque yourself! It's not brain surgery. Toothpicks are obviously more portable.
