Trying to understand... Do Kilipsch model numbers (5-to-6-to-7) indicate better and better. This model number is lower, but the X7i drop was substantially cheaper. Are the X6i's better than the X7i? TIA

FearlessleaderPretty sure the X7i was cheaper. Just look at the pictures, the earphones themselves looks cheap. The current Klipsch X series consists of X6i, X8 Hybrid, X12i, and X20i. So i believe the X5i and the X7i are in the past now, but within the current lineup, the bigger the number, the better and more costly.

es3502012Manufacturers always make model numbers confusing.
So the X7i is older and not as good as the X6i. Ok. I do love the X7i. Very nice. But I'm likely to get a Trinity Audio unit next... maybe... that will cost me about the same as the newer X6i.
Thanks
