It's odd that this isn't insulated or have a rubberized bottom for non-slip purposes. Could see buying these as gifts for my uncle + father for seeing sporting events in cold weather if they were like that. Maybe next go around?

StooparabolaI am not sure about how it would eliminate waste, I assume they would be using the same materials on the butt pad as they do in their sleeping pads but I digress. I currently use a therm-a-rest z-seat which is great for hiking, hunting, sporting events, etc. The downside is packable size and support. An inflatable pad would be great but only if it was insulated. Being that the z-seat is made from foam, it has an inherent r-value that keeps your butt warm on those cold days in a ground blind or a bleacher seat. I agree that this cushion would keep you dry but I do not think it would keep you warm in much the same reason that an uninsulated sleeping pad would keep you warm on cold overnights.

CampCatskillDifferent length pads and such would create waste. However, yes insulated would be nice ill drop them an email or message. what i love about klymit is they are open to customer ideas. They actually listen and utilize those ideas i wouldnt be surprised if within the early months of 2018 you dont see a insulated version

StooparabolaSeconded for insulated pad- could be great for hammock campers using a 3/4 UQ!

Dr.McCoyAgreed there. For seat covers that would make a lot more sense than say a sleeping pad. I'll pay more if they add that as a feature!

Dr.McCoyThose are great ideas. Hopefully they incorporate them into a future design.
