The good folks at MaggardRazors.com have hundreds of premium-quality shaving soaps and creams in the sub-$20 range, from known brands, with customer reviews, so this is not a "good deal" in the sense that it is a good price for shaving soaps. It might be a good price for this soap, but who's to know? This isn't a partnership with one of the known British soapmakers like DR Harris or Truefitt & Hill, it's a mystery brand. I will pass and stick with Kraken from Mickey Lee Soapworks ($14.00) until I get bored with the scent.

ashtuesdayThere's also Stirling Soap too, one of my favorites. A little bit of research goes a long way and I can't find much about this specific brand

ashtuesdayThanks for the tip trying some stuff from Mickey Lee (run out of CA to boot, nice). Got the charcoal of this Knightsbridge shaving crean on Amazon (same price) to mix it up from the cheap shave soap puck I've been using and not a huge fan of the scent which is a bit overbearing for a cream imo.

ashtuesdayThanks again for this tip - actually got some of the charcoal flavor of this drop (from amazon cuz cheaper/faster) and was nonplussed. Have been using Mickey Lee's Kraken/Réunion and haven't looked back.
