Do they usually update us when they ship it out? I'd like to know the status of the shipment. It's been over a week now.

neatoThey are suppose to provide some sort of update. However, based on what I read in other group buys that ran into some sort of problem, this means they have problems going on and they are not telling us. When members ask for update, they would say "we have no news, so there is nothing to report". The only time they provide timely update is when everything is going well.
So my educated guess is that they are buying the boards from Qtan who has been MIA lately. This may have contributed to the lack of shipping update. However, I can be wrong.

bassOh great. I've heard of a few people waiting a month before receiving an order from qtan. They should at least update us even if there's a problem. This is my first buy from massdrop. Does this sort of thing happen often?

neatoI haven't read through all the drops, so I don't know and I can't find out more since they removed the "talk" tab (which leads to all the discussion on previous drops). It happened couple times already.
I am not sure if they get it from Qtan, it is just my speculation. I hope they are not getting it from him since he has been MIA lately. If they get it directly from Leopold China, that is even worse. So people on the FC660M MX Clear is going to wait for awhile, too.
I don't think there is any major holiday going on in China right now. So there shouldn't be any delay. So, Massdrop, what is the hold up?
So the next update will be when they have something to say. But keeping people who pay you money in the dark isn't the best PR move.

neatoIt's my first too I don't know but I would prefer more information on the package it wouldn't be difficult to msg everyone the the tracking number of the group package/packages or make make a ticket for users to check in the status of.
